The home owner called StoneAge and quickly began comparing design ideas with Hugh. She wanted a stacked stone fireplace to serve as a great place to entertain and be surrounded by a more natural environment. After careful planning Hugh and the team at StoneAge Stonescapes delivered to her two sets of plans to chose from. The estimated twenty three foot - two story -stacked stone fireplace, or - "The more value based Plan B".
The Best option for the homeowner was the value packed "Plan B". This stonecape features a Medium Stacked Stone 'Tennessee Style' Custom Outdoor Fireplace, and a beautiful raised flagstone patio extension. The Outdoor fireplace is adorned by an arched opening with curved shoulders arranged in a herringbone pattern. The arched opening and stone mantel fits perfectly against the 'running bond pattern' firebrick inside the outdoor fireplace, and adds a nice visual contrast to all the modern stonework.
The homeowner being so impressed by the workmanship of the StoneAge crew, then opted to add integrated natural stone seating walls. That little touch sends this property over the edge. Currently StoneAge is adding a spiral staircase to the deck structure to finish out the look.
